I seriously cannot believe it’s that time of year again. The Flagpole Athens Music Award ballots are out on the street and taking over ur interwebz right now! Since it is almost impossible for everyone to know each band nominated, I’m going in depth with each category every day for the next twenty days. Each day will be presented with a picture of last year’s Album of the Year winners R.E.M. Hopefully, it’ll help all of us get a better grip on the scope of this thing. So if you want to see your favorite act walk across the stage to grab the phallic-shaped FLAGPOLE AWARD on June 25th, then pay attention to the King of Athens holding the sign and vote! The deadline is Friday, May 29.
