It’s officially December and the streets are decked out in glittering lights and everything is covered in red and green. But today a few of us will be wearing red ribbons not because we’re feeling festive but because we’re supporting the fight against AIDS. December 1st is World AIDS Day and Athens is doing its part to help find a cure. How? The way we know best: music.
You can head over to Seney-Stovall Chapel tonight for a special dance presentation by Terpiscore & Studio Dance Academy. Free condoms will be made available. Just sayin.
For more information on AIDS Athens and other non-music events taking place during World AIDS Day, check out the official website.
