MATT KURZ ONE
Let me explain in the simplest way possible what it is like to watch Matt Kurz play: OH MY GOD. He uses his left foot to play bass, his right to play kick drum, his arms alternate between drumming and strumming and he sings real nice too. Good grief, someone give this kid a medal.
MUSIC TAPES
If you ever wondered what a television, banjo, harmonica, cluster**** of sound would look like, look no further than Music Tapes. Weird, wild, wonderous, and at times, magnificent.
‘POWERS
WHAT?! I CAN’T HEAR YOU! I’VE GOT EARPLUGS IN. WHAT?! YEAH, ‘POWERS IS LOUD BUT DON’T THEY PUT ON AN AWESOME SHOW?
QUIET HOOVES
I love watching these guys. Never the same show twice. Lots of instrument switching and general debauchery done right. A collective of some of the hardest working/partying people in Athens, Quiet Hooves is always a good bet.
REPTAR
Yes, they are currently the most over-buzzed band in Athens but there’s a good reason for it: Reptar = fun. Sure, they break floors and cause all sorts of mass chaos but you’ll be having a damn good time during the show, that’s for certain.
