AthFest, Inc. is pleased to announce an exciting art contest for all kids ages 3-16 attending KIDSFest 2011. The contest is designed to encourage kids to learn about and gain appreciation of music and art!
Guidelines
1. Must incorporate music theme into the art piece
2. Any medium may be used including, but not limited to watercolors, ceramics, jewelry, pastels,
crayons, paper, wood, etc.
3. Each contestant may only submit 1 entry.
4. Must include information form with art piece
5. Must be no larger than 2’x2’x2’
6. Art project must be done with minimal help from an adult
7. May not submit musical compositions- music performances will be welcomed at the “Musical
Sprouts” Open mic times at AthFest KidsFest on June 25th and 26th
8. Must be present at KidsFest on Saturday, June 25th, 2011 to claim prize
9. Be creative and have fun!
Judging
* 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes will be awarded for each age group. Be sure to circle your correct age
group in the form!
* Entries will be judged on the basis of:
1) Originality 2) Creativity 3) Artistic Design 4) Ability to Incorporate Music Theme into Art
Design
* Artwork will be displayed and winners will be announced at KidsFest on Saturday, June 25th, 2011 at
3:00 PM. Must be present to claim prizes. Artwork may also be picked up on this date after awards are presented.
Submitting your Artwork
*** All artwork must postmarked or received by Wednesday, June 15th, 2011!
