Billed as the “rock half of the Indigo Girls,” Amy Ray has steadily been working on her own material culminating in her new solo album Lung of Love. Not the title I would’ve given it but after her career, you can pretty much name your album whatever you want.
It’s her sixth solo album and we’re lucky enough to be considered home turf. So Amy and her gang will be playing an acoustic gig at the Melting Point. If you’re a fan of the Indigo Girls, or Amy, or just solid pop songwriting, I’d recommend heading over there.
Check out “Glow” below. It’s a surprisingly upbeat guitar-pop track that should get stuck in your head after a few listens.
