Well, Bill is not quite residing in Athens at the moment but considering his long history with our town, we’ll let it slide in favor of the amazing material he’s sending our way. His current project, WPA, is a never-ending fountain of Mallonee goodness, recorded at his home by him and his wife. “WPA’s,” or Works Progress Administration, are available for download on his bandcamp.
We’re big fans of Bill (a statement that is rather redundant for our readers), so hearing that some of the Vigilantes of Love will be joining him on the next album was as close to Christmas as we can get. While he’s working on said album, Bill is touring around the South. He’ll be back in Athens on August 10th to play Hendershot’s.
