If you want a good write up on of Montreal, try to track down a physical copy of Nylon Guy’s Magazine. Our buddy Gordon Lamb wrote a feature in the latest issue.

Peter Buck opened up to Salon about Tired Pony, post-R.E.M. life and his dislike of interviews. I still firmly believe that most professional music writers are R.E.M. fans and David does a great job of getting to the point quickly.
Speaking of the post-R.E.M. life, Mike Mills has been busy with the Baseball Project. Also, he was apparently recording with The Old Ceremony.

Fred Schneider of the B-52s has narrated a children’s book called “Sassafrass Jones.” It is adorable. Now if only we could get John Bell to narrate Pete the Cat….
